She would choose the one in the far corner of the park; the one farthest. Always.
He just followed. Finding comfort in her company and solace in her tales---of relationship broken, love lost, and of tales from another land. He listened, eyes widened.
The stars would shine down on most days. The breeze would tease. They sat as the clock would tick till it was time for them to leave.
That was another world. Another lifetime ago. He now wonders what would have happened to that bench in that park. And, to her.
Would she tell his tale to another someone in another bench in another park? He wonders as he remembers his yesteryears, and her.
